Design and beauty go hand and hand! The color palette and the make-up palette are both tools I use in my day-to-day. Color theory is just as important in interior design as it is in beauty, makeup application, and coloring. Using the color wheel in your makeup application can help you diminish blue undertones, dark circles, as well as sun spots. If you're anything like me, when I visit my gal Angela every 6 weeks to hide my gray hairs, she also applies an ashy toner to my ends, which is purple based to cancel out any of the yellow or brassiness that has peaked through since I saw her last.

Furniture was purchase in groups of 5 or more or even the entire household as a set. Thank goodness times have changed and we now live in a world of "you do you" and "anything goes". In my design you will see that I mix the old with the new, the handmade with machine made, and bold prints with a simple soft color palette. I believe that in design, as well as in beauty, it's all about what makes you feel good. When you put on a good pair of jeans you feel as if you can conquer the world, just like putting on your favorite lipstick.
